Sammi Hobbs ~ Asst. Director
Sammi Hobbs was born and raised in Killeen, Texas, where she grew up in a competitive dance studio learning various dance styles from tap to hip hop. In 2009, she moved to the Dallas area to obtain her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance from the University of North Texas. During her senior year, her modern choreography made the prestigious top ten at the Gala for ACDFA. After graduation, she became a professional dancer and Captain for the Dallas Cowboys Rhythm and Blue dancers – the only hip-hop team in the NFL – and danced four years for the team. She choreographs for high school and college dance teams all throughout Texas and specializes in contemporary and hip hop. This is her 4th year as the Silver Wings Assistant Director, and she teaches Pre-Drill and Dance 2-4 at Hebron High School. In her free time, Sammi enjoys spending time with her husband, D’mitri, traveling, and cooking healthy meals. She hopes to inspire dancers to go after their dreams.
